Comment: I must say that I am an independent and I vote for whichever candidate I feel will do the best job, regardless of party. I also must say how excited I was to hear of Sarah Palin's expected VP Nomination. I am a young woman (25 years old) and the only political role models I had growing up where wives of presidents and the occasional local government leaders.I am very excited about the possibility of telling my children one day about Palin and show my daughters that they can be the President or Vice-President and actually have PROOF!!! Also, I must say that it is disgusting to hear both sides hammer away at Palin for being a working mom and not spending time with her kids. If I am correct, McCain, Obama, Hilary, Bush, etc. ALL HAVE CHILDREN!!! I have yet to hear anyone question McCain or Obama's ability to succeed due to the fact that they have children. This disgusts me so much because it is sending the message to young women that you must decide to be a mother or have a career and that is just a complete injustice to society. My mother always worked and I turned out just fine!My parents took the time to raise me...so wMy don't we focus on the "lack of parenting" in America, not the labor statistics? from Foley/ Alabama by Amber

Comment: He knows how to run his mouth, while she knows how to run a budget!!! from Pensacola Fla by Jerry
Comment: I will be voting for Sarah Palin in Nov. from Pensacola,FL. by Robert
Comment: The voters who think Joe Biden is qualified to be President are probably not Delawarians like I am. Obama-Biden is a good ticket in one way--Obama is rated our most liberal Senator based on his voting record and Biden the third most liberal. Interesting, by the way, how, when McCain has a four-point lead in a poll, the media hasten to remind us that this is a "statistical dead heat". Would they say this if Senator Obama was four points ahead? from Pensacola, Fl by Faith
Comment: Biden is too old to be vice-president. Palin's views are much better alligned with mainstream America. Biden is the 3rd most liberal member of the senate. Obama is #1. from P'cola by Mike
Comment: Gov Palin has the experience and her values puts her head and shoulders above the competition. from Shalimar, Fl by Joe

Comment: Biden has past knowledge of government, and foreign issues. Palin has neither! from Pensacola by Dennis
Comment: one of the things i do not like palin and she has plenty...she is shady in her family affairs, not forth coming in that she intends to cater strictly to the conservative base (christian coalition on abotion issues, oil companies that got her into office in alaska, the NRA, etc...) and will be forceful to endorse her moral views upon others...secondly, the way she now has to hire an attorney to defend her against using her position to biasly fire a state trooper and instead firing the dept head because he would not do it for her...she appears to be a hot headed, judgemental, and ill mannered person for the second highest position in this country...her personality is exactly like the current president and would pursue to skirt the laws established to get whatever she wants...if anyone attempts to avert her, she would accuse them of being sexist. her treatment of the native alaskans (non-whites)in her home state is dismal...wonder if that is how she intends to treat minorities here...as second class citizens? from p'cola by h

Comment: Yes for Palin!! She has got guts and has gotten things accomplished as being governor!! We need someone with action, not just a lot of talk! I want results--show me, don't tell me about it!!! from Milton, FL by Kim
Comment: Since no executive duties are assigned by the constitution to the Vice-president, this question is really beside the point. The Vice-president is to preside over the Senate and may break a tie vote. Surely either of the candidates is qualified. But, who would be better able to serve should the President be unable? That is the question citizens should consider. from Pensacola by joan
Comment: Look at what liberalism has done to this nation since the end of WWII. Need I say anymore? from Mary Esther, FL. by Tom
Comment: McCain is to old to run for president. We need someone who is willing to change things and knows what they are doing. McCain only asked Sarah because he needs the women's votes to win. The United States needs a good leader with a good head on his shoulders and a good heart like Obama and Biden. from Freer, TX by Sophia

Comment: This is a real no-brainer. Joe is just more of the same old crap. Sara has a proven record of standing up for the voters interest...not the normal Washington "whatever is good for me is good for America" attitude. from Milton, Fl by Jim
Comment: pleasebiden from foley albama by raymond
Comment: Pailin is a political gimmick who has had only P.R. experience as Mayor of a town with a population smaller than the student enrollment at U.W.F. Alaska's state population is 655,000! Escambia County is 355,000. Being governor of Alaska is no big deal. from Pensacola Fl by Delores
Comment: biden isnt running with MC cain. from al. by bernard
Comment: Biden is tested and is ready to lead this country, Palin is not ready, there are few people who live in Alaska so she has lead a state as large as walmart. IT is great that a woman is running but there is a lot of differance in Hellary clinton who is more than ready to to president. from Pensacola, FL by B.
Comment: What a breath of fresh air! If the people of Alaska are any judge, she is just what we need to put us on the path to clean up Washington. She has a TRACK RECORD of siding with the people on every issue. Go Sarah! from Cantonment by Paul

Comment: Sarah Palin is a breath of fresh air! We need that! We need young blood with new & improved fresh ideas. I say "you go girl"! from Cantonment by Lisa
Comment: How long have we known Joe Biden vs Sarah Palin? He has been a senator for almost 3 decades and his record is impeccable. She has been a Gov for a little over 1 year and comes with a tremendeous amount of baggage. A profession (Biden) vs a Sam's shopper (Palin). from Orange Beach, AL by Mary

Comment: There's a lot to be said about experience. He knows the Washington hill and how to get things done. Is going to be a great resource for Obama. from Pensacola, Fl. by Barbara
Comment: Biden has more experience nationally and internationally, this combined with Obama's new influences will be a very effective combination. I get the impression from the republican party that Palin is for show, a way to get women to vote for McCain. I find it demeaning to think the republican party think I or any woman is stupid enough to vote for someone just because she is a woman. I can look at facts and figures as good as anyone. I won't vote for her for that reason. by susan
Comment: SHE IS A GUN SLINGS, HUNTING, HOCKEY MOM. WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR.LIKE SHE SAID WHATS THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN A PIT BULL AND A HOCKEY MOM...LIPSTICK. from navarre by april

Comment: Palin has more experience running government. Biden has none. from Pensacola by Julius
Comment: oh i believe biden has alot more expwerience in this field. he has alot more foreign relations experience than palin. he would make a great vice president in the terms representation of all americans...not just to the special interest groups (mainly the main contributors of the republican party...oil, health, defense, and other large corporations, christian coalition, and etc...that have led this country into a shadow of itself... from p'cola by h
