A state divided: Would you support or oppose a plan to divide Florida into two separate states?

There has long been a schism between north and south Florida.The cultures are different.... the climates are different.... and the politics are different..... just to name a few.Now... one city commission says it would be in the best interests of all residents to divide Florida into two states: North Florida and South Florida.The North Lauderdale City Commission says in a resolution that it's not confident in state leaders when it comes to collecting and spending their own money.... and they're tired of the legislature ignoring the cities of South Florida.It's asking other municipalities and counties to join in the resolution.... and create a boundary line from Palm Beach County down through Monroe County. Governor Charlie Crist could only laugh when asked about the idea yesterday...But not everyone's laughing.State Representative Dave Murzin told us today he likes the idea... and he too is tired of seeing Northwest Florida get short shrift in Tallahassee.While the idea, admittedly, probably doesn't have much of a chance of becoming reality... you never know.So what's your three cents on this?
