ANGELS IN OUR MIDST
Now they've got a story to tell and they're using the business to sell eggs ... And adoptions.
Greg Pitts; We were watching Channel 3 News and saw your program, Nobody's Child; Jan and I looked at each other and we made the call.
That was the beginning of a new life for four troubled sisters who were separated in different Foster homes and showing the signs of lifelong abuse.
Isabell; I was always kicking everyone and biting. They had to separate me; I wouldn't go to bed at night. So they had to put me in a different family.
Greg and Jan took on the challenge of trying to heal the emotional scars. Tori gave him a rock to always remember her by but their father-daughter battles saw that rock go back and forth until one night...
Greg Pitts, Adopted four sisters; I picked it up and I said, this is my rock, you can't have it back. I love you. When I die, it will be your rock again.
It took a while but the girls finally realized this was their last stop... And they had a family.
Sarah; He fixes everything. We come to him with a problem and he makes it seem like it's not a problem And mom is the same way with that.
Tori; I was like, yes, we get to stay in one spot and we don't have to move everywhere. And we can keep our own friends.
But Greg knew that there were still hundreds of children out there who didn't have one spot to call home. To tell their story, he put a rolling billboard on the back of his egg company trucks.
Greg; They're the kids who have a lot of problems, lots of issues. Most of them are in their teens....A couple of them are fixing to age out, and they'll never have a family.
He hopes others will only take a chance and give these children a chance.
Greg; We had no idea what we were getting into. We went from zero to 100 miles an hour overnight, pretty much. But, it's been a great ride.
