Corporate Sponsor Sandy Sansing kicked off the Communities Caring At Christmas campaign.

Gulf Power's elves were cruising the toy and clothes aisles using they hold fund-raisers year round and dig into their own pockets to buy for as many children as possible.

Hot off the presses, historian John Appleyard's tenth volume of "15 Mysteries Of Pensacola" that's 150 short stories he's written and published with the generous support of American Fidelity Insurance Company. All proceeds benefit the children.

It was a perfect match when Jim Sanborn organized the first Communities Caring Charity Tennis Tournament.

Armstrong world industries local 24-60 never lets the weather keep them from manning their roadblock for communities.

Our radio partners Cat Country and WXBM took to the airwaves making appeals. Competition gave way to partnership for one reason.

Marty White & Linda Lawrence; Well, it's Christmas time. It's Christmas and it's for kids and it's for foster children in the area. And to bless these kids, means you get a blessing too and that's a good thing.

They know somebody care. And it's Christmas.

The Pensacola Model Railroad Club rolled in with new model trains right into our front door.

Hundreds of friends at holiday evening in Olde Seville helped brighten the season when the collection buckets were passed.

And it had to brighten your day to watch the littlest angels at Lipscomb Elementary School making donations in hopes that every child will have a gift on Christmas morning.

Susan Story, Gulf Power CEO; 181 bicycles and helmets, 24 footballs. We've helped Santa out considerably on his list. The employees of Gulf Power are helping Communities Caring At Christmas by over 31-thousand dollars.

Jennifer Davis was a big help to Santa, providing clothing for many of the older children. The special elves Tod Wilson, Jerry Mock, Brian, Kathryn, Prosser and Katie-John, the whole gang at the Farmers' Opry House.

The Chariots of Pensacola And Pacesetters Motorcycle Clubs rode in right on time. They brought money from a run to help us make those extra runs for more toys.

And what can we say to those incredible volunteers, some who've been there for many of these 31 years, who've shopped at all hours, hauled, sorted, bagged and prayed.

To everyone who gave in whatever way you could, on behalf of the children, thank you. You are truly a caring community.
