Gas prices down for this time of year

Updated: Thursday, July 17 2014, 12:04 PM CDT
It's the middle of America's busy summer driving season, and yet prices at the pump are at their lowest levels in three months.

Right now the national average price for a gallon of regular unleaded is 3.59.
That is a seven cent drop since last month.
Florida is a little lower at 3.53 a gallon.

AAA says part of the reason for this unusual price slump is the relative calm in international oil supplies.

To find the lowest prices near you head over to weartv.com and click on the Pump Patrol tab.
