Updated: Wednesday, July 16 2014, 11:57 AM CDT
The US Air Force has mapped out more than three-thousand personnel cuts across the country, including at Hurlburt Field and Eglin Air Force Base.

The Air Force is streamlining operations in an effort to save one-and a-half billion dollars over the next five years.

Air Force Special Operations Command at Hurlburt is cutting twenty-two positions and Eglin one position.

Some other bases are losing hundreds of jobs.
