Florida's Dept. of Children and Families is reviewing child fatalities due to abuse and neglect where DCF had prior involvement. An independent organization, Casey Family Programs, reviewed 40 cases at no charge to the state. The report analyzes the causes of death and makes recommendations for improving DCF procedures.
