Breaking news on the Affordable Care Act.
The deadline for getting health insurance will be extended by 6 weeks.
Under the new policy, people who sign up for coverage by March 31st will not face a penalty.
Previously, you had to sign up by the middle of February, so your coverage would start March First.
The White House says they need until the end of November to fix the website.
Over the weekend, the data services hub for the Obamacare exchange crashed.
That's the part of the site that provides personal information to insurers and other agencies. It has now been fixed.
Health and Human Services Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius, will testify Wednesday before a house committee about the glitches that have plagued the site since it went online October First.
