HEALTH WATCH: Potential link between Anemia and Dementia story image
Dementia is a condition that affects more than 5 million Americans.
Now researchers are looking at a surprising potential link between this condition and Anemia.

A new study suggests Anemia may be linked conditions like Alzheimer's.
      
Researchers looked at more than 2, 500 elderly people.
Those with Anemia were 41 % *more likely to develop Dementia.
       
Anemia is very common in older Americans - affecting up to 1 in 5 people 65 and older.
       
The exact connection between Anemia and Dementia is still unclear.
