Patients unable to walk are getting new hope thanks to a new high-tech bionic robot in New Orleans.

A neuro-medical center in New Orleans is considering buying the new wearable exo-bionic robot that helps patients who are wheel chair bound walk again.

Physical therapists and staff gathered for a special demonstration of the technology by a coworker who has been wheelchair bound for 26 years. The high tech robot costs about $75,000 to $150,000 and can be used to help rehabilitate stroke patients, MS, paralysis and other spinal cord injuries.Wearable robot helps patients walk
