The second American health worker diagnosed with Ebola in West Africa has arrived in Atlanta for treatment.

Nancy Writebol arrived in a jet at Dobbins Air Reserve Base in Marietta, Georgia this afternoon.

She was taken to Emory University Hospital where she will be treated in an isolated unit.

Writebol and her colleague, Doctor Kent Brantly, both contracted Ebola while treating patients in Liberia.

Brantly is also being treated in Atlanta and is said to be improving.
We've seen her arrive here on a stretcher, a much different scene than Kent. There is an age difference in age between Kent and Nancy. Nancy is still very weak.  She shows signs of continued improvement

At New York's Mount Sinal Hospital a patient who recently returned from West Africa is being treated for fever and gastrointenstinal problems.

He is in isolation as a precaution but doctors don't believe he is infected with Ebola.

Ebola has killed nearly 900 people in four West African countries in what's considered one of the largest outbreaks ever.

Hospitals around the U.S are taking no chances watching out for anyone with possible symptoms.

But doctors say they're confident the disease won't spread here.HEALTH: Second Ebola patient arrives in Atlanta
