Taste of Pensacola Beach Offers a Full Serving of Things to Do
The Pensacola Beach Chamber announced the slate of activities for its annual food festival, Taste of Pensacola Beach, September 20 and 21. In addition to the weekend festival packed with 25 top island food tents, festival goers will enjoy the Frozen Zone. The Frozen Zone features your very favorite frozen adult drinks. Grab your food and beverage and head over to the football tent where Mediacom is broadcasting your favorite games. A generous serving of each signature dish is just $5, but entry to the festival is free.
Saturday, Celebrity Chef Carla Hall will take the stage at 1pm for a cooking demonstration and will sign autographs immediately after. On Sunday, at 11am junior foodies will be center stage for Coolinary Kids led by Chef Lisa Burgess of Wild Roots. Coolinary kids is open to children ages 8 to 11; registration is currently open at www.tasteofpensacolabeach.com. The Heritage Band and Stranger will fill the festival with music Sunday afternoon.

2014 SAENGER CLASSIC MOVIE SERIES - HOW THE WEST WAS WON
The Saenger Classic Movie Series continues Saturday, August 30 at 7pm with the 1962 Western Classic, "How the West Was Won," A family saga covering several decades of Westward expansion in the nineteenth century, including the Gold Rush, the Civil War, and the building of the railroads, starring James Stewart, John Wayne, Gregory Peck and Henry Fonda.
Movies will be shown each Saturday at 7 p.m. (there are a few Saturday exceptions, see the schedule below) and tickets are only $5.00 each. The movie 10-pack can be used for any film in the series in any combination. Tickets are on sale at the Saenger Theatre Box Office only. Seating is general admission for each movie.

Savor Delicious Gulf Seafood at Pensacola Seafood Festival
Savor delicious seafood and enjoy the historic surroundings of downtown Pensacola during the 37th annual Pensacola Seafood Festival, produced by Fiesta of Five Flags and presented by Florida Blue. The FREE three day festival will take place September 26, 27 and 28 in Seville Square, Fountain Park and Bartram Park. Bring the entire family for a weekend filled with a variety of foods, arts and crafts, and live entertainment.

The Pensacola Seafood Festival is one of the largest arts and crafts fairs in northwest Florida with more than 150 artisans and craftsmen who travel from around the country to participate in this three day festival. Arts and crafts vendors will be located in Pensacola News Journal Park (Seville Square).
This years festival will also feature a plethora of seafood dishes and other delicious festival fare. Treat your taste buds to a variety of cuisine prepared by carefully selected food vendors bordering the park along Government and Alcaniz Streets. Enjoy favorites such as grilled conch, seafood gumbo, oyster croquettes, soft shell crab, coconut shrimp, Caribbean crab cakes, and more.
Taste of Pensacola will feature a Gulf to Table area where local restaurants will prepare tapas size portions of their signature recipes. Be sure to also visit the Fiesta Seafood Grille sponsored by Pensacola Energy where live cooking demonstrations by Pensacola celebrity chefs will take place.
During afternoon and evening hours live musical entertainment will be performed on the entertainment stage in Bartram Park with a lineup including indie rock, country and even a competitor from NBCs The Voice. Guests are welcome to bring chairs and blankets.
